OVERVIEW ::

     The Bar and Restaurant module takes care have the Bar and Restaurant operations of the hotel. The module supports multiple cashier sessions. A system of authorization built into the system guards against misuse. The user specific information on credit to companies, tip accounting and support for open items not covered by the menu card are all built in.End of the day cash sheets summaries all transactions quickly. Extensive MIS and other transaction reports and on food cost, cover analysis, preference analysis and other important parameters are available.

PLATFORM ::

The application will be developed on Delphi & MS-SQL SERVER. The application server would be running Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0.

  • The system should be Configurable / Customizable by the users.
  • The system should provide configuration feedback to the users.
  • Pre-Data entry processing should be eliminated (data, not information should be fed into the system).
  • Data entry into the system should be minimized.
  • The system should be capable of maintaining at least 10 years of data for reference.
  • The system should provide summarization and archiving of historical data. 
  • The should maintain application feasibility as a real time application in terms of perceptible speed.
  • The system should have a natural perception and communicate at the users level.

  3.Software Maintenance

The Organization has budgeted the requirement of a person to monitor and provide regular Maintenance, Training & User support & Service for the system thus,
  • The system should minimize the use of tables for data storage.
  • Data should be classified under limited needs and accordingly save in the system.
  • The menu items should be minimized and provide a methodological means to provide information to the users.
  • The system should provide a comprehensive interface to configure users rights and privileges.
  • System documentation should comprehensively address system structure and design.
  • A users operating manual should be provided with the system.
